   Dave has emailed today September 4th and will arrive in Vancouver, B.C. by September 12th. He will bunk in with us in Pitt Meadows a suburb, attend Mini Club events on the 13th and 16th, take part in the All British Run to Whistler on the 19th (site of Wintwer Olympics 2010), arrange shipping for next spring to Vladis Vostok and put his Mini to bed for the winter with 3 other Minis in a secure garage.

   He will have internet/email access here and can post text, photos etc. from our high speed connection.

   We are happy to welcome and help another Mini owner who sets out on long trips. David has travelled more than the minimum 5,000 miles of continuous travel and qualifies for the North American Classic Mini Brigade and hopefully the Van will wear the Grill Badge across Russia to Europe and home!

   David emailed last night. He is on Hwy. 37 between Dease Lake and Stewart, B.C., passing south and to the east of the Alaska Panhandle. When he gets to Terrace, B.C. he will be some 900 miles on pavement from the Metropolitan Vancouver area where we are waiting for him.
