Kicking off the New Year in style, the British Mini Club’s annual Mini Fair is celebrating its 21st year – and once again, it will be taking place at the splendid Bingley Hall in Staffordshire. Situated close to the M6, this popular event has been described as a ‘winter highlight’, as it attracts thousands of Mini Cooper fans from across the UK and beyond – with over 100 traders (including Mini Sport!) and Mini Jumblers in attendance.

We will be sponsoring the event and will be offering a ‘click-and-collect’ service for attendees to get hold of parts that will get their Classic Minis running back at their best – no matter the model; from the MK1 Mini through to the Mini Cooper Rover Sport.

Mini Fair 2020: Mini Cooper Displays and Much More

As the BMC have the use of the best showground facilities in the country to host the event (regardless of the weather!), Mini Fair will have something for any enthusiast. The excellent indoor facilities of Bingley Hall includes a 200-seater restaurant and a number of bars, two levels of exhibition space, the main hall and two sides halls with over 6,000sqm of space and tarmac roadways with ample free parking.

Aside from the numerous traders and auto jumble stands selling all manner of Mini and Mini Cooper parts, the event will also feature:

  • Pride of Ownership. Covering five decades of the Classic Mini, this centrepiece to Mini Fair allows you the opportunity to showcase your own ‘Pride of Joy’.
  • BMC Premier Mini Concours. Marvel at the best-looking Mini’s around, as the best concours go head-to-head to win the Premier Silver Cup and a share of the £1000 prize money.
  • Club displays. Each attending Mini Club will be showcasing three of their best Mini’s, viewable on the upper balcony.
  • Charity Auction. Get hold of some fantastic Mini goods and merchandise and help to contribute to a great cause.
  • Minis for sale. Aside from being able to buy Mini parts and spares, attendees will also have the opportunity to buy classic Minis in all their restored glory.

Mini Fair will open at 9am, with entry fees set at £15 per person – children under 12 go free when accompanied by an adult. With the BMC being given use of the grounds (as well as the hall) for the event, the day gives attendees the opportunity to explore one of the country’s best multipurpose event spaces.

Particularly notable for being a prevalent concert venue in the 1970s/80s, with many famous contemporary acts playing (the likes of Queen, The Jam, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, The Who, Pink Floyd, Bruce Springsteen, ABBA, and many more) – Stafford Bingley Hall is certainly a must-visit for any Mini fans who enjoy their music history too!
