If you have been following the blog recently you will remember the Clubman in the Mini Sport Garage that came in last week for just a pre-race check up and an M.O.T. before going to Harewood Hill Climb on the 14th this month. However there was a lot of rust and corrosion found on the rear subframe and inner wheel arches.

Having seem welded a new rear subframe this was then sent away to be anodised. A weekend later and it has been delivered back to Mini Sport with a nice coat of black and is ready to be fitted. Whilst the subframe was sent away our resident welder and body shop technician wasted no time in moving onto the arches of which he has both plated and welded.
